Welcome to Hiking Adventures with Vern! Hiking Adventures with Vern is an online journal of many of the hikes I’ve done over the years.  This journal will give you a lot of information about the hikes which will be useful if you decide to do some of them yourself.  The pictures will show you the beautiful scenery that you will see. I have also endeavoured to make each hike into a personal story that I hope will make my descriptions more interesting.  After all, each hike is an adventure, although with careful planning it should be an enjoyable adventure.  My ultimate goal is to show you the beauty of the great outdoors, and encourage you to not only experience more of our beautiful world, but also inspire you to help protect it.
